The VR8 Box is a flow-pack machine with a transfer-type sealing system, designed primarily for packaging large products and situations requiring a robust seal. It is a flexible, versatile, and user-friendly solution.

Its head system with vertical lowering of the jaws allows perfect film adjustment on high products. Thanks to the closed jaw movement, it ensures strong seals.

Its accompanying type head and the capacity of the reel holder make it a solution capable of handling an extensive range of dimensions, including products of great height and, in general, of large sizes. The longitudinal sealing on the bottom of the product improves the aesthetic performance of the pack.

The machine can be integrated with accessories that make it adaptable to specific packaging needs. These include, for example, MAP systems and automatic tray feeding systems.

The VR8 Box works well with a variety of packaging materials, including recyclables, biodegradable, compostable, and paper films that the market demands with a view to environmental sustainability.

  • Self-centring reel holder, regardless of the reel width used, the film is always centred without the need for any adjustment.
  • Progressive reel brake, as the film reel is consumed, the brake is automatically changed so that the operator does not have to worry about it.
  • Control panel with colour touch screen, allows quick format changeover and intuitive management of all the machine parameterisation options.
  • Real-time diagnostics, displaying the machine’s operating status on the screen, to quickly locate any anomalies.
  • Three pairs of sealing wheels guarantee a better result in the longitudinal welding of the bag. They have a 120mm diameter, to provide perfect sealing.
  • Storable temperatures for each recipe, to facilitate and make the format change even faster.
  • Preventive maintenance warnings, to warn of the appropriate moment for an overhaul.


The VR8 Box can be customised with multiple accessories to increase efficiency based on customer needs and/or product requirements.

Some of the accessories are:

  • Air ejector, which partially extracts air from inside the package just before it is sealed.
  • Gas injection device, a system for modifying the atmosphere inside the pack to extend the shelf life of the product.
  • Photo-eye system for registered film, allowing the use of films printed with marks to centre the design on the product.
  • Unwinding film system, facilitates dragging, achieving greater welding performance.
  • Second reel holder, for easy availability of a reel of the same size or of a different format, speeding up replacement.
  • Automatic reel changeover with film auto splicing , allowing work to continue without interruption due to the termination of a film reel, achieving maximum efficiency.
  • Retractable belts, device for automatic approaching of product conveyor belts to avoid jamming with products with an inhomogeneous base.
  • Filter in the jaws for out-of-position product, prevents the out-of-position product from being caught by the welding jaws.
  • Stop no product, temporarily stops the machine when product has not been loaded on the in-feed conveyor.
  • Accompanying brushes system, to accompany the product and ensure its stability during the packaging phase.
  • Stop no film, stops the machine automatically in case the film reel runs out.      
  • English fold, a system that allows the edges of the pack to be brought closer to the product for a more compact pack appearance.
  • Extension of the infeed conveyor, to obtain more space in the loading area to fit more operators and thus achieve a higher speed.
  • Printers/Markers to print information such as batch number, production/expiration date or barcodes and images directly onto the film in real time.
  • Labellers, to apply or print labels on the finished pack or directly on the film before forming.
  • Rotary table, positioned at the exit of the flow-wrapper, receives the products already packaged to facilitate successive packaging operations.
  • Automatic loaders, customised for each circumstance and need.
